- There is currently a broadband issue in the North Finchley area which is affecting North Finchley library. No internet or wifi is available. You can borrow and return items. Please check back here for updates before travelling to the Library.
- Barnet Libraries annual Literary Festival returns to Finchley Church End Library on the weekend of Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 May.
- Childs Hill, Hendon and New Barnet libraries will be closed on Thursday 2 May while they operate as Polling stations. The nearest alternative libraries are Golders Green and Osidge Libraries.
- Finchley Church End library will be closed for planned electrical works on Wednesday 8 May from 7am – 5pm
