Freedom of Information Request

Deans Brook Nature Reserve access - Edgware (Grid ref: TQ 198 916) (Our Ref: SOE20240201-2)

Received: 1 February 2024

We believe that in 1997, the Secretary of State for Environment prohibited public paths in this area. (ref: https://publicaccess.barnet.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=ZZZY6NJIXE83. )Has Barnet Council received any notices from the Secretary of State in 1997 or later on this matter? If so we would like to request documents related to the public access to the Deans Brook Nature Reserve area. This land, adjacent to Edgware's northern line railway sidings owned by TfL, is of concern due to recent proposals for public access outlined in the Ballymore plan to develop the Edgware Town Centre.Given the historical decisions , we request relevant documents through the Freedom of Information Act to understand whether the same restriction still applies to the Deans Brook Nature Reserve area.
