Received: 28 March 2024

I would like to draw your attention to the recommendations from the Environment Agency regarding the Ballymore / TFL development at Edgware Town Centre. We welcome your comments on the recommendations. In addition, we would like to register your response as a FOI response to these questions: 1.Can you provide evidence of updated water cycle studies conducted by the Barnet Council to understand the impact of large-scale developments, like the proposed Edgware Town Centre redevelopment, on the local water supply?2.What measures have been taken by Barnet Council to engage with water companies in planning the phasing of developments, network upgrades, and potential new water sources to alleviate water stress?3."Given that both Thames Water and Affinity Water supply zones are classed as under 'serious' water stress", has Barnet Council considered adopting stricter building regulations, such as the 110 litres per head per day water consumption value, to address serious water stress, as recommended in Policy SI 5 Water Infrastructure of the London Plan 2021? If so, could you provide details on the status of implementation?
