Barnet Council Tax Reduction Support scheme

1. The London Borough of Barnet ('LBB') has recently implemented the Barnet Council Tax Support Scheme, 1 April 2024 - 31 March 2025 ('the Scheme'). As part of the Scheme the LBB has established a minimum income floor for the self-employed which is calculated on a 'notional earned income equal to that of the national living wage'. Please can you provide the following information: a. A copy of all previous versions of LBB's Council Tax Reduction Schemes that existed between 2021 and 2024. b. Please provide a copy of any Equality Impact Assessments ('EIA') or equivalent documents produced in relation to the establishment or amendments to Barnet Council's Council Tax Support Schemes.c. If LBB consulted on amending the policy to produce the 2024/2025 Scheme please provide us with the consultation documents and any responses.d. Please provide us with internal LBB documents including any officer reports, minutes, assessments, or decision documents in relation to:i. Establishing the Barnet Council Tax Reduction Support Schemeii. Evidencing the decision-making in relation to amending the Council Tax Reduction Support Scheme policy for the 2024/2025 year.
