I had to immediately vacate a rental property due to severe mould. This was reported to the council and I believe action has been taken. The landlord has been negligent throughout my time there. The property was vacant for several years prior to me moving in but this information was withheld as the agent told me it had only been unoccupied for 4 months. I suffer with an autoimmune disease and was advised by my medical consultants to vacate quickly. The landlord has refused to surrender the lease which unfortunately means I am still connected and owed my deposit. I sent images to a specialist damp surveyor who confirmed it was indeed a dangerous mould called Surpular Lacryman.I am now wishing to see all correspondence that the council have sent with the relevant replies from the landlord or agents.I genuinely feel this apartment was let to me when it was uninhabitable for so many other reasons too. I hope you can assist
