Chipping Barnet library refurbishment

Chipping Barnet Library is now closed for refurbishment. The library will reopen on Monday 30 October 2023.

The refurbishment is being funded with a grant from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) Cultural Investment Fund. Improvements are being made to shelving and study facilities at the library and a flexible space to host other council services is being created.

The refurbishment will also help deliver a range of measures to improve access for those living with dementia, by providing quieter spaces and internal signposting will be improved to include sensory maps.
