Barnet Libraries are delighted to welcome comic artist and writer Kev F Sutherland to Colindale and Finchley Church End libraries to kick off our summer activity programme of 'Mischief Makers' and Beano themed fun.
Over a career spanning 25 years, Kev F 's work has appeared everywhere from Beano to 2000AD, from Star Trek and Doctor Who Adventures to Match. Take it from us. He is just Marvel-lous!
His extremely fun and hugely popular masterclass is suitable for children of all artistic abilities, aged 7+. The children will learn all the techniques and tricks of the trade when it comes to drawing comics and will come away from the class with their very own comic strip and an individual caricature.
Tickets for this workshop cost £5.50 per child*. Spaces are limited. If you would like to guarantee your place at the workshop, tickets may be purchased in advance from Colindale and Finchley Church End libraries during staffed hours only. You can also buy tickets on the day*, subject to availability. Spaces will be reserved for pre-booked ticket holders and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis for those who are paying on the day*.
