The Council adopted the New Barnet Town Centre Framework November 2010. The Framework sets out a vision for the future of the town centre and provides detailed guidance to direct future development in New Barnet in a well planned and coordinated manner. The Framework is a material consideration when considering any future planning applications for the area it covers. It will assist economic prosperity and protect and enhance the centre’s future vitality and viability to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of the local community.
