Onwards and Upwards Young People's Centre

Onwards and Upwards is a vibrant centre based at Woodhouse Road. The centre provides opportunities and support to our care experienced young people and children in care in the through care team or the unaccompanied asylum-seeking children’s (UASC) team. 

You can receive support from the service, Monday to Friday between 9.15am - 4.45pm. The following services are available on-site:

• Department for Work & Pensions – Care Leaver Work Coach
• Barnet Education & Learning Services (BELS)
• Immigration Advice and Support
• In-person Duty Services – no appointment required
• Peer-led Strengths and Resilience Groups
• Housing and Tenancy Support
• Health and Wellbeing
• Support for Care Leaver Parents
• Substance Misuse Support
• Free to use Kitchen and Laundry Facilities
• Money Management and Budgeting Skills Support
• Free WIFI and ICT access
• Preparation for Independent Living Workshops
• Celebration Events throughout the year
