Young people’s lives have been severely impacted this year with school closures and the cancellation of exams which is why we want to ensure they have the mental health support they need while preparing for a new academic term. We want young people to know that it’s normal to experience feelings of stress and/or anxiety, and that talking about your feelings can help – which can be much easier to do with someone anonymous. You may leave the home to shop for basic necessities, go to work if you cannot reasonably do so from home, exercise with your household (or support bubble) or one other person, this should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area. You can also go out to for child care, to meet your support bubble or seek medical help.
