The Barnet Community Innovation Fund is a new grant scheme designed to help build stronger relationships between Barnet residents, the Voluntary and Community Sector, local NHS services, and Local Authority, to achieve better health and mental wellbeing locally. The fund will do this by supporting innovative ideas from Barnet’s voluntary and community sector on how to work with our diverse communities. It will build on established successful partnerships that have grown during the pandemic.

The COVID-19 crisis has been devastating for many but seen Barnet at its best with communities pulling together to help those most affected. While lockdown has meant strict social distancing, many local groups and charities have found interesting and novel ways to combat loneliness, provide essential support to those most in need, and to keep the community united.

Residents can call, email or go online in advance to select what they would like to borrow.

The unit will be open for tests for attendees in a vehicle and on foot between 10.30am-3.30pm on each day at: Barnet House – Wednesday 15 July, and Brent Cross Shopping Centre – Saturday 18 July. All appointments must be booked in advance, either:
