Together, we are Barnet will highlight some of our many groups, sports teams and local projects, as well as individuals, who contribute so much to our community. This week we're focusing on Anthony Dawodu, founder of cycling charity, Wheelio, which helps to bring together people of all ages to socialise on two wheels.

The grand opening for the centre on Sunday 23 June, which had a ‘Greatest Showman’ theme, offered everyone in the Barnet community the opportunity to see what is on offer. This money is a ‘one off’ fund for the council to support community groups in the borough by giving them equipment to carry out their own litter picking events. This offer will be available until the funding is fully allocated.

The event will be held on Saturday 29 June at 10am at the RAF Museum, Grahame Park Way, Colindale, to pay tribute to our serving and ex-servicemen and women. The event will be attended by the Worshipful Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Caroline Stock, the Representative Deputy Lieutenant, Martin Russell, CEO of the RAF Museum, Maggie Appleton, and other dignitaries and civic guests.
